Two very unique and richly painted Chinese porcelain hat stands of the late 19th century. Charming scenes of the traditional family relaxing in an open garden setting, the garments are painted in various bright colors against a backdrop of nature. Condition is excellent with no hairlines or chips, just some minor rubbing of the gold trim and very trace fading of the details, yet all details are distinct and complete. These measure 11" high x 4.5" diameter.

Very rare tomesode with blue birds. A light to medium weight crepe silk decorated with yuzen dyeing techique and small touches of silk embroidery. Early 20th century Chinese cloisonne recumbent deer censer with gold gilt on a custom wood stand. The lid on the back features a bird finial and is lined with turquoise enamel. The exterior cloisonne ground is turquoise over copper with red, green, blue, black, white, and yellow enamels creating a rich an vibrant design. Circa 1860, cylindrical Chinese Yixing red stoneware teapot with dished flat cover and loose iron wire swing handles. Brightly decorated in colored enamels with a phoenix bird amongst lotus and foliage. The teapot has various stamped and incised marks, one on the lid, one on base bottom, and 2 incised marks on the pot exterior just under the handle on the side opposite the spout. Fantastic 6 piece set of miniature gold vermeil parlor furniture with pale yellow and pale reddish brown guilloche enameling. Each cushion features enameled flowers consisting of a central rose surrounded by blue flowers, green leaves, gold tendrils and gold accents. A Japanese cast iron tetsubin or water kettle with an undulating rim. The sides are cast in relief with a temple compound amid pines in a generic landscape, the reverse with sparrows in flight, all above a key-fret band. The kettle has a typical stubby "S" spout, wrought iron overhead swing handle, and is fitted with a bronze lid having "garlic clove" knop. Circa 1965 red free form metal sculpture on a black wooden base by George Curtis (1923-2010). Curtis developed a unique way of creating freedom as opposed to formal structure sculptures. Using a 5 gallon pail filled with water and potatoes, he would melt scrap aluminum and pour it into the pail. The result was an unvisualized form that humans have never seen before, a representation of the shape of spaces and caverns between objects. Measures 15" high.

A gorgeous antique ladies Elgin 15 jewel pocket watch with a floral motif designed in relief using gold, yellow, and green golds. The inside is engraved "Edna Forbes, Feb 25,1913". In good working condition, this little beauty measures 1.5 inches in diameter.

Pair of mirror image porcelain elephant candle holders by Mottahedeh for the DuPont Winterthur Museum. These elephants are hand painted reproductions of the original 17th Century Chinese joss stick holders that are in the museum's collection.
