A fabulous 19th C Meissen porcelain inkwell set in Imari palate. Consisting of an inkwell with lid, a sander and an undertray. All pieces were hand painted and are in excellent condition. There is some wear to the enamels on the tray from use but that is it. No hairlines, chips, or cracks. The tray measures 11" by 7.75"; Sander 2.5" high by 4" diameter; Inkwell 3.5" high by 4" diameter.

A large and very rare Chinese wedding purse, this unique purse displays colorful Peking forbidden stitch done in patterns displaying various treasures. The inside is of a subtle lavender, while the outside is creme colored with slightly raise geometric designs. This clearly dates it to the early 20's. A bonus feature is fine woven solid silver wire (Not silver wrap) that adorns the sides and has two handles for ease of handling. Condition is excellent with just a very few minor loose threads....

A lovely Japanese painting on paper of two men observing the moon. This scroll was sold on consignment by a Japanese dealer named Sakura. According to Sakura and in his opinion, this painting would date from 1800-1849, and is in fair to good condition. All genuine antique scrolls will show signs of wear and discoloration and in some cases damp staining. The painting appears to be salvaged and remounted at least 20 years ago. A fine and rare Qianlong period porcelain bowl decorated with a rich blue glaze accentuated with gold highlights. Featuring two different scenes of people in a landscape setting, the transparent enamel glazes feel smooth as silk. Carved to fit the hand perfectly, this Japanese ivory page turner offers elegant design combined with function. The artists skill becomes even more evident when the page turner is held. In excellent condition save for one small shallow chip about 2-3 mm, see last photo, very hard to see, but can be felt if you run your finger slowly along the blade. Historical dark Blue Staffordshire Teapot, circa 1830, of Lafayette at Franklin's Tomb. Made in honor of Lafayette's 1824 visit to the United States, this teapot was produced by Enoch Wood & Sons (1818 - 1846) of Staffordshire. In excellent antique condition, there is only one fairly small chip on the inside of the teapot, no hairlines, no repairs. The teapot is 11 inches wide from spout to handle by 7 .5" tall.

1960's Chinese green and white jadeite carving of lotus and bamboo on a custom wood stand. A frog is perched on one of the lotus leaves and a bamboo stalk in the background serves to hold calligraphy brushes or fresh flowers.
