This stunning Victorian tomato glass basket by Boston & Sandwich Glass Company is made from two layers of cased glass, a tomato or orange-red color over yellow with an applied clear single twist thorn handle and 4 applied clear feet. An unusual feature is that top rim of the bowl folds over and is studded with large tomato hobnail bumps ending with a crimped edge which finishes with a narrow clear band. Chinese export porcelain serving bowl featuring a traditional Canton scene on the lid with a pine cone finial. The matching scene is also featured inside the bottom of the bowl. The color woodblock print depicts an image of a seated warrior with a poem above. Print has toning, spots, and marks throughout, fading to inks, loss of red ink stripes on face, abrasions to lower right corner. Not examined out of frame.

A 19th C black lacquered Victorian papier-mache tabletop box with a gold Chinoiserie scene. The lid is decorated with monks in a Chinese style garden where as the sides are decorated with noble families at leisure in a similar Chinese garden. A stunning hand painted porcelain bowl with a gold trimmed scalloped rim was made by the Tressemann & Vogt company in Limoges, France between 1892-1907. Artist signed, the design, use of gold throughout, and selection of colors from the rich royal blue band with contrasting orange flowers to the band of blush along the rim is just fabulous. A cheerful family outing adorns this rich and colorful display of a day out in the country side. Dated to the late 19th and just prior to 1891. The ginger jar is in excellent condition without chips, hairlines, with very little rubbing of the details, hardly noticeable at all. It comes with a well formed lid that is beautifully designed. 7 inches high without lid (8.5" with lid) x 7" diameter.

Two unique blue and jarlets being offered as group. 1. a small Binh Taun shipwreck jarlet. 2. a Jiajing jarlet 1796-1820. The condition is excellent with the exception of the shipwreck jarlet that shows wear from burial at sea, otherwise the group is perfect without any further flaws, no chips, hairlines, or other damage.

A very rare and early imari that more closely resembles the kakiemon palette, but with the heavy use of gold and some under glaze blue, it would fall under the imari family group. This is a very rare dish as it displays the pomegranate fruit in the center well, its seeds being exposed as to suggest the hope of many sons. 5 cranes are symmetrically arranged, 3 on the garden rock, 2 in flight. Ornate English sterling silver picture frame by Keyford Frames. Featuring a heart-shaped opening with with cherubs at each corner, the frame is hallmarked KFD. Backed in very dark purplish blue velvet, it stands 7.5" high at the highest point x 5.5" wide. The heart-shaped opening will hold a 4" wide x 5.5" high photo. A little wear to the velvet at the bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.
