Antique Chinese Export Blue and White Porcelain Canton Covered Bowl stock #BNJbwCanVegB
Chinese export porcelain serving bowl featuring a traditional Canton scene on the lid with a pine cone finial. The matching scene is also featured inside the bottom of the bowl. The outside of the bowl has the traditional floral design. Condition is considered to be very good to excellent. There are some firing glaze pops and areas of missing glaze around the rim of the bowl, common for these pieces. Possibly some small after firing chips, but very hard to tell if that is the case. Lid is perfect as well as the rest of the bowl. No cracks, no hairlines on either piece. Measures 10.5” long, 8.5” wide, about 4” including the finial. Dates circa 1830
