Rare silver mounted boar's tusk opium pipe from the Himalayas in the Tibetan area. The bowl is in the form of a dragon's head with dark blue glass eyes and has a cover fashioned as the dragon's nose with a chain attached. Marked 925. Mid to late 19th c American hand carved wood thermometer with engraved brass temperature plate. Interesting to note is that Preezing is the spelling for Freezing. Today this spelling for temperature is only used in scientific literature. A rare find. Possibly an early Taylor thermometer. Measures: 16.25" high

This is an exquisite haori. Jackets of this quality, condition, and subject matter are getting increasingly hard to find. Made habutae silk a with brocaded or woven lining, it can be worn or displayed with either side facing outward. The outside is solid black with 5 mons (family crests) and includes the artist signature which appears on the front lower right panel. 19th century French footed brass chamberstick This chamberstick with its size, measuring 15 3/4 inches long, combined with a wonderful warm patina makes it a decorator's dream. Measures 15.75" long, 3.75 inches high, 5.5" across.

French hinged vinaigrette or snuff box made from carved coquille nut having a mask with inset red amber eyes and tongue, the cover with Napoleon astride a rearing horse. Measures 3 inches long. Circa 1815.

A very well painted Chinese hat stand. This would be considered transitional late Qing 1906-1911 to pre 1920, my guess is that it is just after the Qing period. The colors and enamel painting feature the God of Longevity with boys at play. Beautifully painted tree with flowers at bloom. The condition is perfect with exception of minor gold rubbing, other than that it is perfect and ready to display. Measures 11" high x 4.75" across
