A rare Eastern Han (206 BC- 219 AD) jar with incised decoration about the collar area. All the features one wants to see are found on this rare artifact, such as root impressions, worm tracks, and traces of calcified (petrified) roots. This jar is not the typical molded type made for burial, but was actually used in real life as utilitarian ware for everyday use. The jar is in excellent condition and measures 6.5" high x 7" diameter.

A beautiful pair of Chinese cloisonne vases done in black enamel with gold tone scrolling vines and florals. In excellent condition, they measures 10.5 inches high.

A very nice Japanese, Meiji Period (1868-1911) drum form Satsuma lidded box with two faux molded handles to the sides. The exterior and interior of box and lid each are decorated with scenes. Signed on bottom, it measures 5.5 inches diameter, 3" high.

Antique Chinese framed blue silk embroidery which appear to be sleeve bands that are stitched together. The textile is decorated with two phoenix, two dragons, and Chinese seal script. All are hand applied using gold gilt wrapped threads. In excellent condition, measures 27" x 15" including frame. The silk measures 21.5" x 10". Dates circa 1900.

An exceptional Japanese cloisonne enamel cigarette case with gold washed interior. A floral scene on each side features a chrysanthemum, or kiku, symbolizing perfection, long life, power and nobility. Enameling is rich and vibrant, exhibiting very little or no wear. In excellent condition, this beauty measures 3.5" x 3"

Very Rare 18th century Pennsylvania Dutch straw art painting. Details are excellent as well as the condition. Purchased from a family in PA, it is also possible this came over with an early Pennsylvania Dutch immigrant. Either way, it was made by the same people. Measures framed 13.5" x 10.5". Sight size approx. 10" x 7.5"

Circa 1750 Chinese export Nanking Cargo blue and white porcelain tea bowl and saucer. The cup and saucer were recovered from the wreck of the Dutch East India Company ship "De Geldermalsen", which sank in 1751 near Java. The recovered pieces from the wreck are now referred to as "The Nanking Cargo". Both cup and saucer still retain the original Christie's label from the auction held in Amsterdam in 1986. saucer measures 4.75ʺdiameter. Cup diameter is 3".Cup with saucer measures 2.25ʺ high

Circa 1830-40, English flow blue octagonal ironstone serving platter. The deep dark blue and the flow is as good as it gets. Made by P W and Co.. in Manilla pattern, it measures 16" x 12". Appears never to have been used, excellent condition.

Large Chinese embroidered silk badge of a three toed dragon. The 3-toed dragon is the symbol of government ministers and public officials. This piece could have been from a wall hanging or off of a room screen. Color of badge is even; glare from the glass is making it look darker or lighter in areas. This badge measures 20.5" high and was placed on a cream colored closely cropped brushed velvet material, then framed. Framed measurements are: 26.5" wide x 33" high.

Large Chinese jardiniere with a rich dark green glaze with a dragon, a rooster, two deer, and the Shou character for longevity. In pristine condition, it measures 7" high x 9" diameter. Dates 1850 or earlier

A wonderful bronze opium or cigarette set inlaid with green enamel that accentuates the fine details of fish, lotus, butterflies and flowers. The box is lined with the original wood insert, which is extremely rare to find intact. All items has footed feet with blue enamel. Condition is excellent, save the tray that has a slight wavy rim to one side and minor enamel loss to a couple of the feet, which does not detract from the beauty of this rare set. Two very rare Ko-imari rice bowls from the Genroku period. C. 1690-1710. These are just gorgeous, the bottoms are painted in the chevron pattern, and various geometrical patterns of roundels with honey comb patterns throughout. Two dragons adorn either side of each cup and each surrounded with colors of iron red and green enamels with gold gilt accents. Each bowl and cover are in perfect condition with very little wear to the enamels, almost non-existant. They measure with lid on about 3 1/8" ...

Very nice Baltic amber butterscotch necklace. Some pieces almost look egg yolk in color. In excellent condition, it measures 27 inches. Circa 1960-70

A beautiful Royal Doulton Lambeth ware vase with deep cobalt blue high luster glaze that changes to a sage green, then to a medium/light blue at the base. A floral band encircles the top with all the raised details still intact. Inside the vase has sage green glaze. In excellent condition, you will notice an imperfection at the base rim that appears to have happened in manufacture which is not uncommon. Impressed marks on base bottom. Vase measures 13 1/2" high and about 6" diameter at wides...

Ming Dynasty Chinese scholar's duan inkstone. Simple and elegant in design with foot rim, the stone measures 4.25 x 5 inches. Custom rosewood box was made at a later date.Box 5.25" x 6".

Small tortoise shell ladies case with an overlay sterling silver design. This may have been used as a patch box or to hold coins. Mono and in very good antique condition, it measures 3.75" x 2.5". Circa 1850

An excellent example of French gilt, bronze doré work. This beautiful footed trinket box dates to around 1890-1910. The lid has a glass center and is surrounded by deep rose silk material and exquisite ormolu decoration. Inside is lined in a matching stripped floral silk. The sheer amount of work in this little box is testament to the quality of the piece. In very good antique condition, it measures 5.75 inches x 4.75" x 1.75" high.
