Early 20th century Chinese cloisonne recumbent deer censer with gold gilt on a custom wood stand. The lid on the back features a bird finial and is lined with turquoise enamel. The exterior cloisonne ground is turquoise over copper with red, green, blue, black, white, and yellow enamels creating a rich an vibrant design. Circa 1860, cylindrical Chinese Yixing red stoneware teapot with dished flat cover and loose iron wire swing handles. Brightly decorated in colored enamels with a phoenix bird amongst lotus and foliage. The teapot has various stamped and incised marks, one on the lid, one on base bottom, and 2 incised marks on the pot exterior just under the handle on the side opposite the spout. Fantastic 6 piece set of miniature gold vermeil parlor furniture with pale yellow and pale reddish brown guilloche enameling. Each cushion features enameled flowers consisting of a central rose surrounded by blue flowers, green leaves, gold tendrils and gold accents. A very rare 5 panel bride’s noren. The bottom of the curtain has a lovely delicate aqua wash. Traditionally the bride would hang this curtain in the doorway for about 2 weeks after she was married to announce that she was a member of the new family and that she has taken her husband’s family crest. Ink on silk painting of Kanu Tannyu's "Portrait of Shoki". Riding a shi-shi lion Shoki was know as the Demon Slayer. Shoki was the spirit of the physician Shôki who was, according to Japanese folklore, able to scare away demons and ward off evil spirits.
