A fine small ivory okimono of Jurojin holding a peach with a deer at his side. The figurine measures 2.25" (5.7 cm) high. Signed on bottom, it is in excellent condition. Price $650 USD.
The ivory stand does not go with the okimono, but we like them displayed together. Stand measures 1.75" (4.4 cm) and has some age cracks, but it is solid. Stand price $125 USD.

A small cast iron Japanese tetsubin of slightly flared cylindrical form, decorated in relief to one side with maple leaves floating on a stream against a textured ground. The backside is plain save for the textured ground and the foundry mark for Kinshudo. The cover is flat with a pine cone finial and the handle can be moved to either side. In excellent condition, it measures 2.5 inches high excluding the handle, diameter about 3" at widest. Dates late 19th Century.

A delicately painted Satsuma pottery jar with two courtyard scenes of daily life for the Japanese elite. The rest of the jar features a complex ground of various patterns. There has been a professional repair to the vase lip, but otherwise excellent. Measures 6 inches high with lid. Signed on bottom.

A 1920's Wakasa lacquer clam trinket box. Both sides match and the two pieces fit together perfectly. Dating from the 1920's, it measures 4.75" across, 2.25" high, 3.75" front to back. Wakasa craftsman developed the process of layering lacquer coats of different colors during the Edo period.

Circa 1850 small underglaze blue Chinese jar (see 2nd photo for size) with original lid. Photos do not do this jar justice. We guarantee you will not be disappointed. In excellent condition, this little treasure measures 2.75" high including finial and 2.5" diameter.

This Qing Dynasty cloisonne box dates late 19th to pre-1910. Exhibiting a beautiful patina, the box is composed of brass with copper on the exterior. In excellent condition and a real visual pleasure, the box measures 3"x 4”.

Small Japanese circular covered box in gold nashiji and maki-e lacquer with the lid having a lovely display of iris flowers in a stream setting created in both low and raised relief lacquer work The sides also feature raised delicate designs that complete this perfect little box. Late Qing Chinese red tixi cinnabar circular box decorated with alternating layers of red and black lacquer deeply carved to create intricate designs The box has a beautiful sheen to the surface so that the layers of lacquer simply pop. High quality and in excellent condition, it measures 3” diameter, and 1.5” high. Circa 1850.

Measuring 3.5" high x 4" long, the lamp will fit in the palm of your hand and is attached to a heavy hand wrought chain that ends with a hook in the shape of a cobra. Incredible yellow gold remembrance brooch of a bouquet of flowers with 2 hearts. Created with 3 different colored hair, the bottom of the bouquet is wrapped with dark brown hair which, due to reflection problems, I was not able to photograph. In excellent condition, no scratches to glass, the brooch is engraved on the back "Anne M Chenault" "1843". The brooch is much more beautiful and intricate than picture. Rare matching set of sterling silver and blue guilloche enamel cufflinks, 6 stud buttons, and two hinged hat pins in their original box from Birks Jewelers of Canada.
