A beautiful late 19th century bronze kankavati featuring a wonderful warm patina. The box is divided into 6 yoni shaped compartments for sindoor or kukum powder. The peacock finial lifts out and then one or more of the compartments can be opened. In excellent condition, it measures 4 inches in diameter when closed.

A marvelous oval shaped Chinese tortoise shell box with enameling featuring a bamboo and floral pattern with auspicious symbols on a carved top and the side bands. An interior mirror under the fitted lid shows some age related wear. The tortoise shell is in excellent antique condition, no cracks and there is no visible loss to the enamel. This is a rare treasure which displays beautifully. Measures 6 inches long, 5" wide, 1.5 inches high. Circa 1880.

Very nice Imperial yellow hand carved Chinese wine cup. The bowl is accented with carving details in the stems and lotus areas for added appeal. The shape of the bowls reflects those porcelain counterparts that were popular around the late Qing and early republic periods. RARE pair of miniature red lacquered elm wood Chinese scholar's cabinets. Designed as a “mirror image” pair, each cabinet has one side panel which is plain while the opposing side panel is decorated with floral carvings. Pair of mid 19th century cut crystal Irish finger bowls measuring about 4 inches in diameter and 3 inches high. A rare find dating circa 1850.

Fine large, 21 inch long, sterling silver mirrored plateau by Jean Francois Veyrat, 10 Rue De La Tour, Paris. This plateau features four cast silver hoof feet and a beveled mirror. In excellent condition with just normal antique wear to the mirror, it is fully hallmarked and has a wood bottom. Measures 21" long, 17" wide, and 2.25" high. Circa 1880.
