Tall Japanese Sumida Gawa tankard with 6 mugs. All have the same potter's mark. Mugs measure 5" high, Tankard is 9.5" high. All are in very good condition except for a missing piece from the scroll on one mug, and broken thumb on another. Dates early 20th century.

A framed Japanese woodblock print of children playing by ukiyo-e artist Keisai Eisen (1790-1848) . Oban size print, it is in very good antique condition consistent with age. Dates late Edo.

A finely painted 19th C Japanese porcelain Hirado mizusashi used in tea ceremony to hold water. In excellent condition, it measures 5 inches high by 4" diameter.

Very fine large Meiji Era Japanese porcelain bowl with a delicately painted floral motif accented with gold gilt highlights. The side of the bowl features cranes in various flying poses. There is an old staple and gold repair at the rim. Looking into the bowl it is not visible unless you are seriously looking for it. See last 2 photos. Bowl rings nicely. Signed on the bottom, this is a very large bowl measuring 12.5 inches across by 3.75" high.

Japanese ginbari and enamel cloisonne winepot with a black ground and gold wires or cloisens. Siting on 3 small feet, it is in excellent condition and measures 8.5" tall x 4.5" at widest. Circa 1900. Note: For the clearest example of the black background on this pot please check the last photo.

An impressive 17" tall Japanese champleve vase or urn with gold gilt. Featuring a phoenix or ho-ho bird on the front and back, it is in excellent antique condition. Dates circa 1900.

A fine small ivory okimono of Jurojin holding a peach with a deer at his side. The figurine measures 2.25" (5.7 cm) high. Signed on bottom, it is in excellent condition. Price $650 USD.
The ivory stand does not go with the okimono, but we like them displayed together. Stand measures 1.75" (4.4 cm) and has some age cracks, but it is solid. Stand price $125 USD.

Original woodblock of a samurai by Japanese master and teacher Toyokuni Utagawa, 1769-1825. Signed in lower left, the print is float mounted. In very good antique condition, there is some worm hole damage along the right edge. Measures sight size 13.5 inches high, 9.25 inches high.

A lovely Japanese porcelain Imari bowl with 2 ho-ho birds in the center symbolizing yin yang. Two more elaborate birds are painted on the inside panels. Unusual to find a decagonal bowl, it is in excellent antique condition with expected wear to the gold trim on the rim. Measures 7" (17.8 cm) across by 3" (7.6 cm) high. Signed on bottom. Dates 1700

Very nice Satsuma water jar often used in Japanese tea ceremony. Made in a drum form, the body features boys at play. Being quite versatile, it would make a wonderful biscuit or candy jar from which to offer guests a treat. In excellent condition, it measures 5.5 inches high.

An impressive magnifying glass with a carved ivory handle with 18 natural red coral beads. We believe the ivory handle to be a Meiji period Japanese parasol handle and sometime in its history converted to a magnifying glass. In very good antique condition with all beads intact, the handle measures 5 inches x 1 1/8". Magnifying glass with handle is 10.5 inches long.

A charming ivory shishi dog netsuke. Signed by artist and in excellent condition, it dates circa 1880-1900. Measures 1 3/4 inches long by 1 1/2 inches high.

Beautiful Meiji Era ivory napkin ring with 2 scrimshawed monkey, one of which is chasing a fly. This piece would also make an excellent stand. Dates 3rd quarter 19th century and measures 1 7/8 inches across by 1 inch high. Guaranteed ivory.
