A Japanese Kutani porcelain Koro or incense burner, with a round body raised on three animal-mask legs and applied with shishi-mask handles. The domed, pierced cover is surmounted with a further shishi. The whole decorated in overglaze enamels with peacock and golden pheasant amid rocks and peonies, all on a yellow "roe" ground. Marked with a seal to the base "Kutani" amidst scrolling clouds, it dates late 20th C, circa 1980, and is in excellent condition...

Lovely little Inaba white cloisonne box with a silver finish. The lid features flowers in a rocky garden setting and inside the box is engraved with flowers. Marked with Inaba logo on base bottom, it is also maked inside with the logo and the words "Made in Japan". In excellent condition, it measures 3.5 by 3 inches, and 1.5" high. Dates mid 20th C.

A beautiful hand painted iron red Kutani charger decorated with images of children at play, birds and floral arrangements. Sometimes referred to as a low bowl, these large dishes make wonderful accent pieces weather it is hung on your wall as art or placed on a table as a centerpiece. In very good antique condition, no paint losses, no chips, no repairs. There are 2 hairline cracks that are in the crazing and do not affect the integrity of the charger. Measures 15 inches diameter, 3" high...

Very sweet little circular cloisonne box with a pale yellow ground. The foot is exposed copper. The interior of both the lid and base is a mottled dark green. Some expected pitting to the enamel. In excellent antique condition, no dents, no chips, no cracks, it measures 2.25 inches in diameter. Circa 1800

A lovely little Japanese cloisonne vase depicting two flowers in polychrome enamels worked in silver wire on a green ground with silver mountings. In excellent condition, it measures 5 inches high. Dates circa 1910.

A delicately painted Satsuma pottery jar with two courtyard scenes of daily life for the Japanese elite. The rest of the jar features a complex ground of various patterns. There has been a professional repair to the vase lip, but otherwise excellent. Measures 6 inches high with lid. Signed on bottom.

Japanese wood and lacquer cloisonne document box. The ground features a carved lacquered tree bark design. Applied cloisonne flowers with a butterfly were achieved by using gold tone metal wires which were filled with colored lacquer and then hand polished. In excellent antique condition, it measures 13.25 inches long, 4.75" high, 2.25" high. Photos do not due justice to this large box, you will not be disappointed. Circa 1900's

A superb bronze Japanese shishi with one paw on a pierced ball. Signed on bottom of statue. Includes wooden stand. Two holes were drilled on bottom of the fu dog to secure it to stand, see photos. A nice Japanese bronze suiteki or water dropper in the shape of a coin. In very good condition, it measures about 2 inches long and a little over an inch high. Dates circa 1930's.

Very artistic Japanese bronze vase with drip design reminiscent of an overflowing jar. Beautiful patina. It is paired with an wooden Art Deco Chinese stand of the same period. Unsigned. In excellent condition, the vase measures 6" high x 4.5" diameter. On stand 7.25" high. Dates late Meiji, early Taisho.

A very rare and fine Japanese Satsuma water dropper in the form of a Kyoto style saki pot. Delicately painted with figures and flowers, it is supported on three tiny feet and signed on bottom. In excellent condition, this treasure measures a mere 2 5/8 in diameter and about 1.25" high. Dates Meiji Period, 1868-1912.

A very nice Japanese, Meiji Period (1868-1911) drum form Satsuma lidded box with two faux molded handles to the sides. The exterior and interior of box and lid each are decorated with scenes. Signed on bottom, it measures 5.5 inches diameter, 3" high.

A small cast iron Japanese tetsubin of slightly flared cylindrical form, decorated in relief to one side with maple leaves floating on a stream against a textured ground. The backside is plain save for the textured ground and the foundry mark for Kinshudo. The cover is flat with a pine cone finial and the handle can be moved to either side. In excellent condition, it measures 2.5 inches high excluding the handle, diameter about 3" at widest. Dates late 19th Century.

A very lovely small Japanese teapot accented with decorative running splashes of gold against a dark brown almost black backdrop. The same color can be seen on the bottom 1/5 of the teapot just under the handle and continues to include the base bottom. The copper remaining exposed copper has a deep copper patina that comes only with age and usage. The handle features intricate basketry weaving. This was a treasured teapot and would make an excellent decorative specialist addition to your home...

A thought provoking Japanese satin silk haori (Jacket) with a hand painted scene of a young man paying homage to a Zen master. The older man is sitting on a mat in a relaxed lotus position. In the background is a 5-6 paneled screen featuring an outdoor water scene. The colors are excellent. With family crests on the the front side, this hoari is in near perfect condition, save for a slight water mark on the inside front sleeve (see Last photo, sleeve on right.)

A fine Japanese men's black satin silk jacket with a handwoven scene in shades of golds and taupe featuring a female snow monkey and her infant. In excellent condition. Dates pre-1940

Fabulous Japanese black satin silk haori with a woven lining featuring 3 large rabbits. The outside has 2 family crests on the front and 3 across the back. Please note that the grey spotted rabbit has red pupils. This is a high quality men's haori and is in excellent condition. The jacket measures 54 inches across the shoulders by 44” long. Dates circa 1900-1930.

Rare old Japanese cotton norleen with three 3 fish from Mutual Bank of Kure in Hiroshima. This was a gift to clients. In very good condition, it measures 40 inches x 24.5".
