Unusual antique French Limoges gold trimmed porcelain oyster plate depicting different sea grasses. In excellent condition, it measures 9.5" diameter.

NOTE: A very interesting technique was used to create the effect of underwater movement. They 1st printed the image in light green, then printed the same image in dark pink over it, but slightly offset. Where the images overlapped, it created a 3rd color, brown, which establishes the main part of the plant.

Mid 19th C Staffordshire figurine of a tailor riding a goat with 2 kids in a basket. Inspired by Meissen' s Tailor of Count Bruhl figurine, the goat is carrying an iron in her mouth while the tailor is holding a small roll of material in his hand. A very ornate hand chased silver hip flask with a hinged rotating bayonet cap. Monogrammed on the cap, it also has the date 1892. There is a small dent on the cap. Measures 6” high x 3.5".

Purchased over 40 years ago at Restoration Hardware, this archaic style bronze ram's head was the only piece they had in their store. I suspect it was a decorative item that RH purchased as an accent piece for one of their room settings. The holes on this reproduction ram indicates that the original bronze ram was affixed to an instrument. An impressive piece, this was probably made in the first decade of the 20th C Measures 14" long, 7.5" high, and 12" across the horns.

Circa 1900, a large needlework panel done in petit and gros point of a dog sitting on a stool in front of a window and bordered by various floral panels. Colors are cream and varied tones of reds, browns and tan. In a museum quality antique tiger maple frame with gold gilt liner and a wood panel back, it measures 23 x 26". Embroidery sight size measures 17.5” x 20.5".

An antique Persian heavily made copper vase having a rounded bulbous body, narrow neck, and a flared lip with an applied edge. The surface is embellished with fine and impressive scrolling including 4 separate birds amongst a plethora of flowers. Circa 1900. Measures 5" high x 5" diameter.

A large and rare antique, circa 1850, French casein tortoise shell casket with bronze ormolu framework featuring a working lock with key. The casein was applied over mahogany or rosewood creating a sturdy chest. Inside is the original silk lining perfectly intact. This chest is superbly crafted and very well preserved, there is just a little wear on the top and wear to the gold gilt on the bronze ormolu consistent with its age...

Circa 1820 English, this charming tortoise shell sewing box having zig zag patterned string inlay can also be used as a jewelry box. The interior has fitted tray which still has its original compartment lids and the tray removes to reveal another compartment.
