A very cute small Chinese white glazed turtle attributed to North Carolina potter Virginia Shelton of J.B. Cole Pottery. On the base bottom there is an indication that there are some initials, but they are almost completely mostly obliterated by the glaze. A Japanese Kutani porcelain Koro or incense burner, with a round body raised on three animal-mask legs and applied with shishi-mask handles. The domed, pierced cover is surmounted with a further shishi. The whole decorated in overglaze enamels with peacock and golden pheasant amid rocks and peonies, all on a yellow "roe" ground. Beautiful 17" inch high Lladro statue with gres finish of a kneeling Thai dancer in traditional garb. Designed by Vincente Martine, this figurine was released in 1977 and retired in 1999. Lladro ‘s Spanish name for this Thai dancer is “Thailandesa Arrodillada”. In excellent condition, she measures 9 inches wide × 7ʺ deep × 17ʺ high.

A large cast bronze Department 56 recumbent pig used in a store or window display to feature their Jam Bon Farmhouse china collection (See last photo of same pig as a Dept. 56 Jam Bon butter dish). The Japanese hakama is pleated skirt-like pants that is worn over a full length kimono. Hakama pants originated as an outer garment to protect a samurai warrior’s legs from brush when riding a horse. Today, the hakama is worn as formal attire for Japanese wedding ceremonies (see last photo), dances, and martial arts (specifically, black belt students and Juijitsu practictioners). Ornate English sterling silver picture frame by Keyford Frames. Featuring a heart-shaped opening with with cherubs at each corner, the frame is hallmarked KFD. Backed in very dark purplish blue velvet, it stands 7.5" high at the highest point x 5.5" wide. The heart-shaped opening will hold a 4" wide x 5.5" high photo. A little wear to the velvet at the bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.

A stunning pair of gold gilt mirror image cloisonné hat stands. Often used as vases, the front of each hat stand features a vase of flowers with a peaceful scene of a man in a boat viewing the horizon. An exquisite Japanese silk haori with a wintery skiing scene featuring tickets from Tokyo to Akaura and from Kyoto to Ibuki. Made of habutae silk a with woven lining, it can be worn or displayed with either side facing outward. The outside is solid black with 5 mons (family crests).
