Fantastic 6 piece set of miniature gold vermeil parlor furniture with pale yellow and pale reddish brown guilloche enameling. Each cushion features enameled flowers consisting of a central rose surrounded by blue flowers, green leaves, gold tendrils and gold accents. This set includes 4 chairs (2 are arm chairs), a sofa, and a writing desk or accent table with a drawer. Dates circa 1920-40. Each piece measures as follows and approxmately:

An exceptional Japanese cloisonne enamel cigarette case with gold washed interior. A floral scene on each side features a chrysanthemum, or kiku, symbolizing perfection, long life, power and nobility. Enameling is rich and vibrant, exhibiting very little or no wear. In excellent condition, this beauty measures 3.5" x 3"

Circa 1900, Chinese export enamel trough planter with floral scenes in rock garden on a custom wood stand. The glaze on the exterior ground is a lovely pale turquoise, while the interior is a darker contrasting turquoise. The rim features fret key pattern in a vibrant translucent royal blue and the metal trim is silver which has darkened over time. In excellent condition, the planter measures 8" long, 5.5" wide, and 2.5" high. On stand measures just under 3.5".

Figural hand painted faience hatpin holder of a Danish boy by Aluminia Royal Copenhagen. Measures 7.25 inches high, 3" at widest, 2.5" diameter at base. Excellent antique condition with one chip at bake side of base. Dates 1910 and a very rare find!

A fine Japanese lacquer tray dating Taisho era, pre 1920. In excellent condition with only having some light wear to the bottom from sliding on tables or what not over the years. Measures: Length 8" x Width 6.75"

Very rare pair of solid brass candle holders by J.M. Craig in partnership with Colt Armory. Made in Harford, Conn, circa l913, they are surprising heavy. Measures at base 4" diameter. 9ʺ high.

Circa 1980, Philippines woven reed and bamboo storage basket crafted by the Ifugao people of the Luzon Cordillera range in the Philippines. Known for their craftsmanship in basketry both Ifugao men and women engage in basket making. Created for everyday use, head baskets like this were used in the fields to collect rice or sweet potatoes and then to store, keeping perishables dry. In excellent condition, it measures 13.5" square by 6" high.

Old Chinese soapstone carving of a Confucius or a Confucian Scholar on a fitted lotus form wooden stand. Measures 4" high including base. Base measures 3.5" long, 2" wide.

A large hand carved pale celadon cucumber with a yellow nephrite jade blossom and dark green jade leaves. Wonderful piece for the collector of jade fruit and vegetables. As a decorative item, it displays well and will not go unnoticed. Measures 10.5 inches long.

A fine example of an early 20th century Chinese enamel cloisonné baluster form vase decorated with intricate foliate and vine patterns in an arabesque style design. The pattern, in shades of blue, is displayed over a pale turquoise ground accented by gold gilt base and neck. In excellent condition, it measures 12.5" high

A stunning hand painted porcelain bowl with a gold trimmed scalloped rim was made by the Tressemann & Vogt company in Limoges, France between 1892-1907. Artist signed, the design, use of gold throughout, and selection of colors from the rich royal blue band with contrasting orange flowers to the band of blush along the rim is just fabulous. Measures 9.5" diameter x 4.5" high.

According to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, “The "Venetian" pattern was one of the more elaborate designs for ornamental desk sets. It is described in a 1920 trade catalogue as decorated with fields of richly chased ornament relieved by a deeply carved band of ermines at the base of each piece."

Antique hand carved turquoise figurine of Liu Hai with his 3 legged money toad on his shoulder. Dates Late Qing, circa 1910. The carving, details and overall appearance is wonderful. Late Qing to early Republic Chinese carved agate lidded vase. Colors include a multi color orange, reddish brown and natural tone that was carved with nice details and open work. The lid and vase are nicely hollowed inside. The birds are fly catchers amongst flowers stems and leaves showing some stunning markings. 19/20th C, finely rendered Chinese Shiwan (Shekwan) pottery statue of a seated man holding a bamboo pipe traditionally used for tobacco. Some nice crazing in the high gloss glazes on his shirt and pipe. This is a very good piece with excellent detailing, you won’t be disappointed. Measues 5.75” across, 7.5 deep, 6” high
