A lovely Chinese hat stand featuring a pair of birds and painted in the Qianjiang style using soft pastel enamels. Qianjiang enamel paintings are getting harder to find and this one is in excellent original condition, no chips, no hairlines, no cracks. It measures 11 inches high x 4.75" diameter.

Japanese scholar's bronze water dropper in teapot form decorated with shishi dogs. In excellent condition with a wonderful warm patina that is sure to please, it measures 1.75" in diameter (2.25" across including spout) x 1.5" high (2" high with handle up).
Note: there is paper residue on the bottom from an old tag or label.

Lovely black lacquer Japanese vase with 2 crickets. On the back side is a red dot (2 gold dots are on the front), a very interesting and subtle design element. Note in the photos, there is some minor chipping around base. Measures: 8.5" high, 4.25" across shoulder.

Rare Gorham sterling silver Acanthus vase. This wonderful vase with a fluted body is embossed in high relief with acanthus leaf shell design around the foot and mouth. This a first class quality vase, bearing the Gorham sterling trademarks. In excellent condition, it measures 8.5" high.

Chinese rose medallion porcelain vase with with 2 dragons. Colors are rich and vibrant. Dating Early Republic it is in excellent condition with just a little expected wear to the gold and measures a little over 6.5 inches high by 3.5" diameter.

Aesthetic Movement mixed metal copper basket featuring twig and vine bronze handle with a bronze bird perched on the edge. Design on basket is reminiscent of patterns seen on Japanese textiles. A gorgeous antique ladies Elgin 15 jewel pocket watch with a floral motif designed in relief using gold, yellow, and green golds. The inside is engraved "Edna Forbes, Feb 25,1913". In good working condition, this little beauty measures 1.5 inches in diameter.

Antique Kalinga basket for carrying and storing rice or vegatables made by the mountain people from northern Luzon, the largest island in the Philippine archipelago. This coil basket is perfectly symmetrical and has nice warm patina. The coil weaving technique, materials (finely split rattan and nito vine), and design are consistent with baskets made by the Kalinga tribe. This rare and very beautiful collectible basket is in excellent condition and measures 12” high and about 10" diameter.

A beautiful pair of Chinese cloisonne vases done in black enamel with gold tone scrolling vines and florals. In excellent condition, they measures 10.5 inches high.

A rare sake-daru (Sake Keg) made of piled woven bamboo in combination with Japanese red lacquered pine. This tsuno-daru has two horn-like staves with inscriptions, a cross piece forming a carrying handle, and a wooden plug that pulls out. This saki barrel dates pre 1920. Sake casks such as this were prepared by sake factories to be used for special ceremonial occasions in the late 19th to the early 20th centuries. In excellent condition, it measures 21” tall and 7” in diameter.

Matching set of art nouveau dresser jar and hair receiver with sterling silver tops. In excellent condition and never monogrammed, they each measure 5" across, 4.75" high. Dates early 20th c. Can be sold separately at $175 each.

Rare early Art Deco three strand variegated Baltic amber necklace. The natural amber beads measure 0.5 millimeters each and were carefully selected to ensure a smooth transition of color which includes all shades from a yellow honey to a dark cognac or black cherry amber. Large old Chinese rosewood stand on 5 small feet. Well constructed, it is very sturdy and will hold a lot of weight. There appears to be a repair on the inner bottom, but when we tried to move the piece in question, it would not budge. Therefore there are absolutely no condition issues with this stand. Measures 3.25" (8.9 cm) high, and about 8.5" (21.6 cm) diameter (see 2nd photo).
