A cheerful Aesthetic Period sunflower card receiver with a cricket on the front and a dragonfly on the back. This silver plate receiver by Meriden Silver Plate Company of Connecticut dates late 19th C. Measures about 7 inches high.

Japanese woven bamboo flower basket with original bamboo insert. Beautifully made with a variety of different sized bamboo strips and in excellent condition, it measures 13” high, 4.75 widest, 3.5 diameter. Dates pre-1990.

Large old Chinese rosewood stand on 5 small feet. Well constructed, it is very sturdy and will hold a lot of weight. There appears to be a repair on the inner bottom, but when we tried to move the piece in question, it would not budge. Therefore there are absolutely no condition issues with this stand. Measures 3.25" (8.9 cm) high, and about 8.5" (21.6 cm) diameter (see 2nd photo).

Oval shaped Japanese red lacquer tray of Daruma with his fly whisk. The back side is black. In very good condition, it measures 15.5 inches by 12".

A 1920's Wakasa lacquer clam trinket box. Both sides match and the two pieces fit together perfectly. Dating from the 1920's, it measures 4.75" across, 2.25" high, 3.75" front to back. Wakasa craftsman developed the process of layering lacquer coats of different colors during the Edo period.

This Qing Dynasty cloisonne box dates late 19th to pre-1910. Exhibiting a beautiful patina, the box is composed of brass with copper on the exterior. In excellent condition and a real visual pleasure, the box measures 3"x 4”.

Japanese Kamakura Bori fish dish or tray. Finely hand carved in the shape of a red sea bream using the Kamakura lacquer technique, this dish was made for Fitz & Floyd in the 1970's. In excellent condition, it measures 15" long, 6" at widest point.

A fine Japanese lacquer tray dating Taisho era, pre 1920. In excellent condition with only having some light wear to the bottom from sliding on tables or what not over the years. Measures: Length 8" x Width 6.75"

Dating around the 1920s is this 8-sided pierced metal opium lamp. Each of the eight panels has glass inserts to protect the flame. A pair of doors opens in the front to light the flame and in some cases to heat the opium tar housed in a damper bowl at the end of an opium pipe. This lamp is in original condition with a removable brass burner. All the cut-outs are intact. I have not identified the metal, but there is a faint coating of rust on the lamp. A very nice Chinese hardwood lid for a jar. Wood unknown, but is the color of a dark rosewood. In excellent condition, the lid measures 3.25" diameter by 2.25" including finial. Fits an opening 1 5/8th inches or larger".

The hand woven back panel is divided into 3 scenes; the most dominate being a peaceful scent of Mount Fuji with a Japanese coin centered below it. A lovely Japanese porcelain Imari bowl with 2 ho-ho birds in the center symbolizing yin yang. Two more elaborate birds are painted on the inside panels. Unusual to find a decagonal bowl, it is in excellent antique condition with expected wear to the gold trim on the rim. Measures 7" (17.8 cm) across by 3" (7.6 cm) high. Signed on bottom. Dates 1700
