A beautifully rendered statue of Lu Xing, the Chinese God of Wealth and one of the 3 Star Gods. Richly painted in bright floral patterns and scrolling tendrils, it is in excellent condition. There are hole piercings in the ears and nose areas of Lu, and ear piercings in the child. C The sculpture measures 17" or 43.17 cm high and dates to the late Qing. Circa 1900. Marked on bottom.

It is amazing that about half of the snuff still remains in this bottle. Lacking a stopper, it was stuffed with tissue when we received it. We added the stopper for display purposes. The scene surrounding the bottle depicts a person riding a buffalo towards a mountain range while pointing behind him to the man with an umbrella. The bottle has a network of crackles stained over to a pale brownish tone. There are some pin pricks from firing, maybe bits of ash. Dates 1800s. 3 inches high.

Fabulous and rare Pairpoint silver palate olive caster with original tongs. The satin glass insert is most likely Mount Washington and features a lovely hand painted floral design on all sides. All in excellent condition, it measures about 11 inches tall. (Glass insert is 4.5" high)

A superb bronze Japanese shishi with one paw on a pierced ball. Signed on bottom of statue. Includes wooden stand. Two holes were drilled on bottom of the fu dog to secure it to stand, see photos. Measures 4.25 inches high including stand. Bronze lion is 3.5" high. Stand is 3.5" square. Dates Meiji Era

Two very playful Southeast Asian panthers skillfully carved from red palm wood. They can be displayed on any one of 3 sides and look as thought they were designed to be viewed in whatever position you place them. The wood is heavy and dense feeling very much like a hardwood and weighs about 3 lbs. In excellent vintage condition, they measure 9.5 inches long by 5 inches high. Dates early 20th century.

Circa 1880, marbleized slate game board with ornate gold gilding. Painted on slate with line carving, it is securely mounted in a walnut frame. In very good antique condition with some painting loss commensurate with age. Measures 28.25ʺ wide × 1.5ʺ deep × 20ʺ high.

Rectangular Japanese lidded box with superbly crafted gold nashiji maki-e lacquer having wonderful raised gold birds. The designs on the top continue onto all 4 sides and the attention to details are really amazing. Dates Late Edo to Early Meiji. Condition is excellent as this came from a private collection. A fabulous piece of black satin silk embroidered with real seed pearls to create 2 bouquets and 3 individual flowers. Custom made in the 1950's there are about 2,000 seed pearls which are individually hand sewn. There are 3 sizes of small pearls in two different shades, two are a silvery dark grey/black color and the third is a medium black. Original oil on board painting of a reclining nude as viewed through sheer curtains. Done mostly in sepia tones save for a black cat in background, the woman is in an almost sphinx like pose. A very intriguing painting. With original frame and in excellent condition, we date this about 1940-1950s. Signed by artist, G. Hummel in lower right, the painting with frame measures 29.5 inches x 18.5".

Sterling silver fried oyster serving spoon by Tiffany & Co in the 1872 Vine pattern. The handle is decorated with grapes leaves and vines. Marked "Tiffany & Co" and "Sterling", it measures 9.5" long and weighs 113 grams.

Rare 19th C Hamilton & Dresinger, Philadelphia, PA, American brilliant cut glass jar with hinged sterling sliver hand chased repousse lid. Beautifully monogrammed, this may have been used as a dresser box. Lid weight is substantial and seals securely when closed. In excellent condition, it measures $ inches high, 2.5" diameter.

1950s era Chinese Rose Quartz brush washer styled as a pond having a hand carved amethyst Mandarin duck resting on the only flat spot on top. The rose quartz of a high quality and finely polished. The duck is well carved and pegged into the top and you can turn it slightly. However, I would not know if you would be asking for trouble if you tried pulling it out. A beautiful piece, it measures 4.5” long, 2.5” wide, and 2” high including duck.

Japanese hanging tobacco pipe set consisting of a wooden pipe holder and a wood tobacco box in the form of the 2 mythical fishermen Ashinaga (Long Legs) and Tenaga (Long Arms). Tenaga's face lifts and functions as a cover for the tobacco box which still has much of the original tobacco inside. A beautiful late 19th century bronze kankavati featuring a wonderful warm patina. The box is divided into 6 yoni shaped compartments for sindoor or kukum powder. The peacock finial lifts out and then one or more of the compartments can be opened. In excellent condition, it measures 4 inches in diameter when closed.
