Unusual sterling silver bird, an eagle or phoenix, from Taxco, Mexico. Designed and produced in the early 1950's, the intricately detailed head, neck, feathers, legs and feet are attached to the body which is a hard stone egg. In excellent condition, this rare find stands 5" high by 3.25" head to tail.
A stunning yellow Art Deco pate de verre crystal figural vase by French artist I. Roubleff (1877-1970). Featuring a kneeling nude woman with irises surrounding the rim, it is a heavy piece much like a sculpture. Signed by the artist and in perfect condition, the vase measures 10 inches high by 5" at the widest point.
Pair of Korean black lacquer over brass vases with mother-of-pearl inlay. The brass is re-purposed from unused artillery shells and the vases are heavier than one would expect. One of the rim looks a little irregular, but the were purchased in Japan, as is, in the first half of the 20th Century. They measure about 7 inches high.
Circa 1950-60, very heavy sterling silver hinged or jointed fish bottle opener with abalone (mother of pearl) and black onyx eyes. Made in Mexico, it is fully hallmarked including 925 on the back side of the tail. Excellent condition, it measures 7.25" long and weights 5.48 oz.
1920's Weller Pottery garden frog in coppertone and green glazes. In excellent condition, no cracks, no repairs, etc, it measures 5" long and 4" high. Incised signature on bottom reads: Weller Pottery
Korean porcelain celadon vase with black lacquer and MOP overlay. The condition of the porcelain is perfect, but the lacquer is not, some small pieces of mother of pearl are missing and some touch up paint around a section of the shoulder is evident. Still a very desirable vase that will display well. Measurements are 7 inches tall by 3 1/4 inches at the widest.
Large English sterling silver picture frame with figures. The frame is hallmarked and measures 13" high x 9.5" wide. Opening will hold a 9" wide x 6"photo. In excellent condition.
Black transferware on cream Wedgwood porcelain plates of jungle animals. The plates were made from hand engravings by the Wedgwood School of Engraving. The border was designed the wife of James Stevenson-Hamilton, the first warden of Kruger National Park. In excellent condition, they measure 10.75 inches in diameter.
An elegant and very modern rare Art Deco ivory cigarette case. In excellent condition, it measures 5.5" x 3.25" x .75". Inscribed inside with date 1952.
This is a high end sterling silver with 24K gold overlay travel razor set. Made for Thomae Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts, the Gillette razor features a telescopic handle with a head that unscrews. The small tube case has 2 small replacement screws inside. There is room for monogramming on the box. In excellent condition, the box with contents inside measures 2" long, 1.25" wide, and 1.25" high/deep. The was a very expensive set in its day. Circa 1920's
Steuben Crystal Owl designed by Donald Pollard in 1955. Marked "Steuben", it is in excellent condition and measures 5.25" high
Ornate English sterling silver picture frame by Keyford Frames. Featuring a heart-shaped opening with with cherubs at each corner, the frame is hallmarked KFD. Backed in very dark purplish blue velvet, it stands 7.5" high at the highest point x 5.5" wide. The heart-shaped opening will hold a 4" wide x 5.5" high photo. A little wear to the velvet at the bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.
Lalique Crystal, No. 1, 10 8/10 oz, cactus perfume bottle with frosted glass and black dots. No condition issues. Dimensions: 4" diameter x 5" high. We have a matching powder box available, see last photo.

This mug was gifted and engraved on the bottom in 1969. In excellent condition, it measures 6 1/4" from bottom to top of handle, 5 1/2" from bottom to top of tankard, and 4 3/4" in diameter.
An elegant sterling silver picture frame with a fluted design featuring a cartouche at the top ready to be engraved. Backed in burgundy velvet, the frame measures 7.25" high x 5" wide. Site size (window opening) is 4.75" X 3.25". In excellent condition, it is marked STERLING in the lower left corner.
Mid century deer antler cigar cutter with matching cigar ashtray and cigarette lighter. The cutter is stamped Pfielring Solingen and measures approximately 11.25 inches long. The lighter and ashtray have felted bottoms and measure 3.5" by 4.25" each.
Hewn from one piece of wood, our porcine friend leisurely resided for many years on the enclosed back porch of historic Coolmore Plantation, Taroboro, NC (see last photo of home). In very good condition, she does have some age cracks, but is very solid. Measures 21 inches long x 13" high x 12" and weights 21 lbs. Age unknown so we are listing as vintage.
Baby quilt embroidered with the child's prayer "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep" with a yellow border. In each corner is a child kneeling in prayer with a baby animal or pet: a girl with a lamb, a boy with puppy, girl with bunny, and a boy with a kitten. Very good antique/vintage condition with some wear at the edges. Well quilted and embroidered, it measures 32" x 37.5". Dates circa 1930's.
