A very unusual and extremely rare ink cake in the form of a crouching dog, circa 1800. From its underside you see evidence that the ink cake was hand molded, what is even more remarkable is that this is a white ink cake, and most likely would have been used in special paintings of the scholar class. The stand is included but is not antique. The cake measures 3.5" (8.9 cm) long, 1.5" (3.8 cm) high, 2.5" (6.4 cm) wide...

One very lovely hat stand painted with rich bright colors and exhibiting a scene from the red chamber. Genuine Chinese porcelain hat stands are getting hard to find these days. We date this lovely example to about 1910. Measures 11.5" x 5".

An intricately hand carved wooden opium den lamp in the shape of a chair. The carving on the front bottom panel is a scene with 3 people. The central character seated at a table appears to be of the scholar class. The brackets on each side have a guardian figure. Used to illuminate Chinese opium dens, lamps like this were often their only source of lighting. The lamp’s burner bowl is stoneware is most likely a replacement...

A very well painted Chinese hat stand. This would be considered transitional late Qing 1906-1911 to pre 1920, my guess is that it is just after the Qing period. The colors and enamel painting feature the God of Longevity with boys at play. Beautifully painted tree with flowers at bloom. The condition is perfect with exception of minor gold rubbing, other than that it is perfect and ready to display. Measures 11" high x 4.75" across

A beautiful floral cloisonne trinket box with bright red and yellow flowers against a background of turquoise blue, lovely pattern and perfect for jewelry items. Measures 3.5" long x 3" deep x 2" high. Circa 1900, this box has no condition issues. Excellent!

Just simply stunning, this beautiful Chinese Asian celadon vase dates to the 14th century, it is in perfect shape save a small piece of broken shard that attached itself when some other vessel exploded in the kiln. Other than that, no cracks, hairlines, or other damage is found. Notice the comb lines and well potted sleek. Measures 4 inches high and about 2.5" at widest.

A wonderful Chinese wood elephant head architectural element. All sides are lacquered except for the back and top which are unfinished. This could be hung on the wall and used as a wall shelf to hold a small treasure. It is made of a heavy wood weighing 2 lbs and measuring 6" high, 4" widest, and 6" front to back. Date: mid 1800s.

A superb Chinese porcelain vase richly painted in a color hue that is seldom seen, with mauve blue and purple, moss green and saffron yellow with rich iron red accents. This large vase displays a whimsical scene of boys at play. Notice as one boy over reacts as a spider dangles from his hand held fan, a cat awaits for his chance to pounce his new found play toy, another little boy hides behind his mother in fear of the commotion...

A most unusual square porcelain bowl with scalloped corners. Iy is brightly enameled with a plethora of flowers. Each corner features a bat that symbolizes fortune and good luck. This lovely Chinese bowl is in exceptional shape with minimal wear, no hairlines, chips, and free from restoration. Dated to the late 19th century, it measures 4.5 inches across by 2.25" high.

A cheerful family outing adorns this rich and colorful display of a day out in the country side. Dated to the late 19th and just prior to 1891. The ginger jar is in excellent condition without chips, hairlines, with very little rubbing of the details, hardly noticeable at all. It comes with a well formed lid that is beautifully designed. 7 inches high without lid (8.5" with lid) x 7" diameter.

A charming blue and white peach shaped Chinese water dropper in excellent condition without hairlines or restoration. It features the charming feature of the scholar in garden scene. Circa 1900-10, it measures 3 inches high.

A very good late Ming seal paste box. In excellent condition apart from the usual wear of abrasive scratches, it has good glaze and is petit. Size is 1.75 inches in diameter and x 1.75" high.

Simple elegance is how we describe this late 19th C. turquoise Noya ware bowl. Good and strong vibrant colors of flowers with auspicious symbols, this bowl has very little wear and is in excellent shape without any chips, cracks, hairlines, and free from any restoration. It measures 10.5 inches long, 7.5 wide and 2" high.

A wonderful Chinese hand painted landscape painting on paper, this painting exhibits the typical soft colors and realism of atmosphere and micro detailing that reflects the artistry of the 19th century, study the mountains and the Buddhist temple in relation to the airy open space, just fantastic! There is an artist seal chop just below the calligraphy and one Owner's Seal to the lower right side of the painting...

A fine late Ming Dy blue and white jarlet with a horse on each side. Rare to find with original lid, this jarlet and lid is in excellent condition with no flaws, no chips, hairlines, or other damage. Book not included.
