Republic period mottled pale green jade Chinese small sword or dagger nicely carved with a great surface sheen and patina. A chilong is carved on each side of the guard between the handle and blade. 17th/18th C Chinese hardwood carving of Quan Yin. Beautifully carved with nice elegant lines, this statue has a wonderful patina than only comes with time. In very good condition there are a few age cracks which do not affect the integrity of the piece. There is some glue residue on the bottom where she was attached to an old lamp base. Measures 11.5" high, 4.75 inches across, 3.75 inches deep

18/19th Century Chinese gilt lacquered wood carving of a seated immortal temple statue. There is some rubbing of gilding, chips, peeling of lacquer, stains, cracks, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos). Worth noting is the well rendered facial expression, the hair is still intact in the ears and mustache, and the details in the clothing. Measures 9 inches high.

Rare table size Chinese white jadeite snuff bottle with apple green and emerald green markings along with some blushes of lavender. Nicely carved in a reticulated openwork design, it is in excellent condition measuring 5.25" high x 3.25 across. On stand it measures 6.125"

Circa 1870s hand carved and highly polished rock crystal and purple amethyst snuff bottle. Carved in good medium relief is a maiden carrying a poled basket with reverse having a flycatcher in the lower right corner amongst a landscape (but it is very hard to make out due to the sheen). In excellent condition, the bottle measures 2 7/8" high and 1 3/4" wide.

A wondreful Chinese wood panel with three goats, an auspicious symbol of peace, harmony and good fortune. The panel was painted with red lacquer and then gold gilt was applied. A very unique architectural element showing a warrior on a mythical beast. These were used as adornments to beautify the home as well as to tell a story. This well carved piece of Chinese history dates to the late 19th century and is considered in excellent unrestored condition. The painting of various colors adds luster to this hard to find antique. The central character seated at a table appears to be of the scholar class. The brackets on each side have a guardian figure. Only one of the most beautiful wood and lacquer Chinese baskets or round box ever to pass through my hands, this stunning beauty measures 9" high with the finial x 9" diameter and has strong decorative appeal, as well as being a genuine antique. The lid has a foo dog finial and is surrounded by Buddhist symbols, truly stunning details and exquisitely carved in low relief.
