A rare comical stoneware lidded jar in the shape of a blowfish by Mark V. Marshall for Doulton Lambeth, circa 1885. This globular vessel stands on three fin feet and the lid has a fin shaped handle. The entire piece is glazed in rich green, white and brown tones. The underside bears an impressed "Doulton Lambeth" mark, signature, and other incised factory marks. In excellent condition, it measures 6.5 inches high and 5.25" diameter.

Circa 1860, A gorgeous Napoleon style gold gilt bronze hand mirror with beveled glass. Carved in high relief is a tender scene of a young man teaching a maiden to play the flute. A sheep is in the foreground. The scene is surround by 3 bands of enameling: black, white, and deep blue with a gold foliate design. 18th century hand chased Georgian silver toddy ladle embossed with festoons, birds, flowers and a shield bearing the beautifully engraved initials "EC". These ladles were used to serve toddy from a serving rummer or punch bowl and ideal for warming brandy. The twisted whalebone handle affords a better grip and has a silver end cap.
