Pair Chinese green glazed ceramic storage jar with a globular body. The interiors are also glazed as well as isthe inside of the lids. Embossed CHINA on the bottom, we date them circa 1900. An excellent example of French gilt, bronze doré work. This beautiful footed trinket box dates to around 1890-1910. The lid has a glass center and is surrounded by deep rose silk material and exquisite ormolu decoration. Inside is lined in a matching stripped floral silk. The sheer amount of work in this little box is testament to the quality of the piece. In very good antique condition, it measures 5.75 inches x 4.75" x 1.75" high.
