19th C Chinese Rock Crystal Snuff Bottle Jar with Qilin stock #JHrockTblSnu

Circa 1820-1840 large table size rock crystal snuff bottle. Superbly done with the greatest skills depicting carvings of birds, foliage, and a Qilin mythical beast. The bottle rests on a fine custom rosewood stand that is also expertly produced. In the 2nd photo, it is shown next to a normal rose quartz snuff bottle so you can compare its large size. Origin is Canton, China. In excellent condition with only a few flea bites to the cover's bottom edge, otherwise it is superb. Unfortunately, the photos just don't do it justice, but I guarantee you will not be disappointed Measures without stand 4" high, 2.5" wide, 2" depth. With stand measures 4.75" high |
