Set of 6

Set of 6 very desirable hexagon shaped 9 inch plates from the Victorian aesthetic period by W.T. Copeland Potteries, Stoke upon Trent, Staffordshire England. Each is transfer printed in black with under glaze hand painting in exceptional hues of bright golden orange, brown, blue, yellow, various greens and fuchsia pink. The background color is ivory or cream. Dates circa 1877, they are in very good condition for their age. Three plates appear to be near perfect or as made. There is some fritting or slight discoloration along the edges of the other 3 and some very small chips. I photographed the 3 worst chips out of 5, all of which are very small. Please ask for more photos if interested.
