Large 11" long hand painted and hand carved wood German Shepard by Helmut Miller for ANRI of Italy. Very realistic carving with exceptional detailing, this rare piece is signed H. Diller. Measure 11" long, 6.5" high, 5" deep. In excellent condition, this carving dates circa 1970.
About the Artist: Born on October 26, 1911 in Stuttgart, Germany, during his life Helmut Diller has amassed a wealth of experience as a portraitist, landscapist and wood sculptor, culminating in his collaboration with the house of ANRI. Many exhibitions in Europe and the USA have featured his works. Died December 2, 1984. |
