A truly magnificent Qianjiang porcelain vase C.1880's, this vase has all the added features not normally encountered in Qianjiang porcelain. First, it is a human figural painting, secondly it is a painting of two foo dogs, and that with beautiful calligraphy in red and black to the sides of the paintings. As an added bonus, this vase comes with the original papers and reciept of purchase. It was purchased in China in 1980 when genuine antiques could still be purchased; and yet legal to purchase them @ 120 years plus. Condition is perfect, except for a small pig bristle that occurred during firing, there are no chips, cracks, or hairlines, and free from restoration. 9 1/4 Tall. 2 1/4 base square and top measures 3 inches square.
