A striking Japanese black cloisonne box with a hinged lid. The lid features flowers and a tree at the water's edge. The bottom is decorated with scrolling wires against a black ground. The scrolling wire pattern continues on the sides and is accented with small white flowers. In excellent condition, it measures 3.5" by 4" by 1.5" high. Size would have worked for use as a cigarette box. Dates early 20th C.

Wonderful old Chinese tripod incense burner with very detailed dragon handles designed in such a way that the upper half of the dragon's body appears to be coming out of the bowl. The bowl also has a large cartouche featuring a running qilin looking back over its shoulder with the opposing side depicting a resting deer partially under a tree and 2 bats in flight. Very unusual and elegant Japanese Kuronbo (of African decent) wooden kokeshi doll. Especially hard to find with a child. Dating mid 20th century, this would fit perfectly in a mid-century home or a make perfect gift for the collector. Pair of Chinese cloisonne vases with intricate designs and fine workmanship. The gold gilt vases are mirror image and each is decorated with a panel featuring a bird on a flowering branch; the opposing side having a panel with a butterfly hovering over flowers. The ornate brown background with gold wires features a floral pattern to include large chrysanthemums. In excellent condition they measure 7.5" high x 4" diameter.

Woven reed and wicker high chair probably used for a little girl in which to place her favorite doll. This chair still retains its original mohair seat. In very good antique condition, there are a few pieces of broken and missing wicker at the top of the chair and a section of woven reed missing at the back of the seat. Dates 1890 and is quite sturdy.
Highchair measures 31ʺ high, 12ʺ wide, 13ʺ deep.
Seat height is 18"
Seat interior measures 7" wide x 7.5" deep.

Moser hand blown lime green fading to clear vase embellished with 3 rows of applied prunts, a wide diamond cut band, a plethora of gold enameled scroll work and floral designs throughout. The base or foot is softly paneled. In excellent condition, no cracks, no repairs, no chips, minimal wear to gold gilt on lip, it measures 8.5 inches high. Dates circa 1890-1910.

They were hand made using a wooden peg and tenon structure, which was traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in China. The bats caved on the bottom and top of the panel represent Good Luck.
