Porcelain Chinese figurine of Tsao Kuo Chiu, who is a patron saint of theatrical profession. Richly decorated in polychrome enamels, Tsao Kuo Chiu is one of the 8 Immortals. We have never seen a theatrical monkey at the base, but he is a nice addition to this very unique 19th century Chinese figurine. Marked CHINA on the bottom, we are dating him Circa 1900. In excellent condition, he measures 7.5 inches tall.

Fine cobalt blue ground Spode porcelain bottle with gilded vermicelli “seaweed” decoration. The stopper is slightly domed. The base of the slender neck features an applied small white enamel bird. Marked in orange on bottom with the pattern number “2123”. In excellent condition, No chips, no cracks, no hairlines, it measures 4” high x 3” diameter. Dates circa 1815 England.

Very rare tomesode with blue birds. A light to medium weight crepe silk decorated with yuzen dyeing techique and small touches of silk embroidery. On the front panels each bird’s head and throat is embroidered using satin stitch method. Some of the leaves are accented with fine gold threads at their edges and a small grouping of flowers are decorated with very small French knots. Framed Japanese woodblock theater triptych, circa 1860. In good condition, it has not been examined out of frame, but the prints appear to be loosely attached. The 3 prints measure as seen, site size: 27.75 x 13.5 site, Frame measures: 32.5" x 18.25" . Please note this is shot through glass and there are some reflections, the prints do NOT have white spots or white streaks.

Rare American coin silver figural punch ladle in its original case. Featuring a woman's figure at the top, a twist handle, and a embossed face on the bowl, this ladle is attributed to George Sharp. The case is leather and shows minor age related wear. The ladle is in excellent condition measuring 13.75 inches long x 3.5" across the bowl. Dates 1840-1860.

Original Japanese kabuki actor color woodblock print by artist Toyohara Kunichika, 1835 – 1900. Beautifully framed and matted measuring 17" x 22", the print site size is 9.75" x 13.5". Any streaking is reflection from the glass. Print does not appear to have any condition issues.

A gorgeous antique ladies Elgin 15 jewel pocket watch with a floral motif designed in relief using gold, yellow, and green golds. The inside is engraved "Edna Forbes, Feb 25,1913". In good working condition, this little beauty measures 1.5 inches in diameter.

Porcelain Lladro figurine "Puppet Show" by sculptor Joan Coderch, it is a heart warming scene of a boy with a puppet on each hand entertaining a dog and 2 cats. A large shiwan (shekwan) sculpture of an Aesthetic riding a pomegranate red foo lion. The glaze is thick and glass-like with a natural crackle that only comes from age. The clay’s color and some ash residue (a good thing) indicate that this piece was fired in a dragon kiln about 5 - 15 miles upstream from Foshan.
