Two very unique and richly painted Chinese porcelain hat stands of the late 19th century. Charming scenes of the traditional family relaxing in an open garden setting, the garments are painted in various bright colors against a backdrop of nature. Condition is excellent with no hairlines or chips, just some minor rubbing of the gold trim and very trace fading of the details, yet all details are distinct and complete. Japanese hanging tobacco pipe set consisting of a wooden pipe holder and a wood tobacco box in the form of the 2 mythical fishermen Ashinaga (Long Legs) and Tenaga (Long Arms). Tenaga's face lifts and functions as a cover for the tobacco box which still has much of the original tobacco inside. Extremely rare and hard to find, is this truly exceptional Chinese cloisonne pitcher, enriched by geometrical designs and embodied with colorful flowers. The top and bottom borders are done in a royal blue cobalt contrasted by a turquoise backdrop entwined with golden wire. This wonderful item is dated to the late 19th century and stands 4 inches tall.

A large and very rare Chinese wedding purse, this unique purse displays colorful Peking forbidden stitch done in patterns displaying various treasures. The inside is of a subtle lavender, while the outside is creme colored with slightly raise geometric designs. This clearly dates it to the early 20's. A bonus feature is fine woven solid silver wire (Not silver wrap) that adorns the sides and has two handles for ease of handling. Condition is excellent with just a very few minor loose threads....

A charming Chinese qingjiang rice pot, adorned with boys that was a popular theme and personal favorite of the Empress Dowager. Lovely soft colors with sharp details, this rice pot is worthy as a piece of hand painted art for decorative display. A delicate little porcelain wine cup with butterflies. The enamels are just beautiful, precise, not grainy, etc. It has an iron red Tongzhi mark on the bottom. Except for a little wear to the gold on the rim, it is in excellent condition measuring approximately 2 5/8” wide and 1.25" high.

A colorful profusion of precious objects and coins adorn this beautiful cloisonne box against a black background, the lid has a finial in the form of a foo dog making this a truly unique treasure. Dated to the late 19th Century, this box is in really good condition with very minor loss of enamel from the underside but does not go through, very difficult to see and does not detract from its initial overall value. Broken shards of these crab plates have been found on the Island in Cebu in the Philippines, and are determined to be of the Zhangzhou type (formerly called Swatow wares). This lovely crab dish is from the Spanish porcelain trade that was exported from China to South East Asia. I am not absolutely certain of its exact age, but can guarantee that it is at least 150 years old. Measuring 6.75" in diameter, it is in perfect antique condition, no chips, hairlines or repair.

19th century Korean plaque of a tiger hand carved and painted with red and gold gilt pigments. Dates Joseon dynasty. Condition is good except some old wood loss to the inner paw area. It measures about 8" x 7 inches.
