Pair of Korean black lacquer over brass vases with mother-of-pearl inlay. The brass is re-purposed from unused artillery shells and the vases are heavier than one would expect. One of the rim looks a little irregular, but the were purchased in Japan, as is, in the first half of the 20th Century. They measure about 7 inches high.

Stunning tall pair of Japanese rabbits with a rich bronze patina over metal. Very heavy, they have the weight of solid bronze and the underlying metal may possibly be white bronze. A terrific decorator item, they are in very good condition with only minor abrasions underneath. Standing rabbit measures 9.75 inches high and 9" long. Pair of early 20th C Tiffin yellow Vaseline glass candle holders with barley twist stems supported by a bell base with an etched floral design. All my photos are shot in natural light against a white or black background. The candleholders are heavy in weight and look much better than I could capture in the photos. You will not be disappointed. They will glow bright green under black light. Measure 9.5" high x 5" diameter at base.

Pair of Chinese cloisonne vases with intricate designs and fine workmanship. The gold gilt vases are mirror image and each is decorated with a panel featuring a bird on a flowering branch; the opposing side having a panel with a butterfly hovering over flowers. The ornate brown background with gold wires features a floral pattern to include large chrysanthemums. In excellent condition they measure 7.5" high x 4" diameter.

A fine pair of mirror image blue opaline glass vases with enameled butterflies and flowers. Attributed to Thomas Webb & Sons, these date circa 1860-1880. The vases are in excellent antique condition with only loss to the gilt on the rims and an area on the back. Measures 12.75" high x 5.5" diameter. A truly beautiful and rare find.

A rare and beautifully made lime pot with a crackle glaze. The lime in these pots helped to soften the betel nut, making it easy to chew. Any genuine antique lime pot will show signs of wear and use, those that are perfect, are most likely new. Circa 1980, Philippines woven reed and bamboo storage basket crafted by the Ifugao people of the Luzon Cordillera range in the Philippines. Known for their craftsmanship in basketry both Ifugao men and women engage in basket making. Created for everyday use, head baskets like this were used in the fields to collect rice or sweet potatoes and then to store, keeping perishables dry. In excellent condition, it measures 13.5" square by 6" high.

A cheerful family outing adorns this rich and colorful display of a day out in the country side. Dated to the late 19th and just prior to 1891. The ginger jar is in excellent condition without chips, hairlines, with very little rubbing of the details, hardly noticeable at all.
