A lovely Japanese fruitwood tray produced in the late Taisho period. The scene was hand carved with a thin gold gilt applied in the carved areas. The tray was made from one piece of wood and has a beautiful warm patina. In excellent condition, it measures 10" diameter and the rim is 1.5" high.

Dating around the 1920s is this 8-sided pierced metal opium lamp. Each of the eight panels has glass inserts to protect the flame. A pair of doors opens in the front to light the flame and in some cases to heat the opium tar housed in a damper bowl at the end of an opium pipe. Japanese silk fukusa with yuzen technique and sumi-e hand painting. The shimmering effect of the water was achieved by the delicate use of silver surihaku. Red embroidery on the crane’s head and some white embroidery on tail feathers highlight those features. On the reverse is red rinzu silk with a large peony motif. A large and very rare Chinese wedding purse, this unique purse displays colorful Peking forbidden stitch done in patterns displaying various treasures. An elegant Art Deco 18K natural (not dyed) Burmese apple green jade stick pin. This high quality perfectly polished translucent apple green jadeite cabochon measures 1/2" or 1.3 cm and is set in an 18K mounting which measures 3/4" long. In excellent condition, the stick pin is not marked but was acid tested. Whole pin measures 2 5/8" long.

A lovely English cut crystal powder or dresser box. The cut glass jar features 3 large flowers with alternating leaves. A deep cut star is on the base bottom. The sterling silver lid is beautifully decorated with a chased Art Nouveau design around the outer edge. The center of the lid is plain and can be engraved. An unusual Japanese Awaji vase hand thrown with applied floral pieces. Though designed for ikebana, the basic bottle point form and the beautiful glaze makes this vase a very striking piece that could be displayed as an art object. A very lovely natural green Burmese jadite necklace, all stones were selected to match, none were dyed. An expertly hand carved dark salmon coral pin dating to the early part of the 20th century, 1920 - 1930s.
