A very rare caneware basketweave tureen with a lid featuring 3 little biddies hatching from their eggs by William Schiller and Sons. In very good antique condition, this item was actually used in its earlier days. Worth noting is that some of the original pale blue color still remains on the eggshells. Designed and potted by W. An elegant Thomas Ellis sterling silver and whalebone toddy ladle with an elongated bowl with a rope twist edging. The twisted baleen handle affords a better grip and retains its original end cap. In very good antique condition, it is hallmarked in the bowl and dates circa 1780. Measures 13.25 inches long; bowl measures 2.75" x 2.5", 1" deep.

Very rare, circa 1888, English tapestry ware biscuit jar with hand painted scenes of a pair of quail and a pair of herons in their appropriate settings. The surface is very clean and feels smooth to the touch. Marked on bottom is the Taylor,Tunnicliffe & Co. of Hanley with the rare Kings Crown logo which was registered in 1886. In excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs, it measures 6" high With handle down x 5.5 diameter...

Unusual pretty little coin silver basket embossed on front and sides with flowers and is finished off with a gold rope tie. The top is ruffled or fluted with a rolled edge. Inside has a gold wash and is hallmarked "900 A K".

6 French majolica asparagus plates with a yellow basket weave pattern edged by a scalloped turquoise rim. The plates features 4 purple tipped asparagus spears laying on a large green artichoke leaf against a turquoise ground. Although difficult to see in photo, there is a well on the right side of the plate for a sauce or melted butter. From the Salins-les-Bains region of eastern France this plate dates circa 1875.
