Circa 1880 French bronze champleve enamel inkwell with delicately hand-painted bird scenes. It sits on 4 bun feet and is in excellent condition. All enameling is intact with the darkest red color being a beautiful clear wine red (which tends to look a darker/duller in our photos). This lovely inkwell measures 7 inches across and 3" high.

Circa 1900, Chinese export porcelain turquoise-ground drum shaped tea caddy or humidor with applied cherry blossom prunus and a coin pattern lid. A single butterfly adorns the backside. The glazes are vibrant and the jar is in excellent condition. You won't be disappointed. Measures about 4.5" high.

English porcelain Staffordshire quill holder featuring a confetti coleslaw nest with 3 spotted eggs, a bird, and a green snake. The inkwell has one hole for a quill and is in excellent condition. Any imperfections are firing flaws, typical of early Staffordshire pieces. Measures about is 2.5" high and 2.75" diameter. Circa 1840.

Fine large, 21 inch long, sterling silver mirrored plateau by Jean Francois Veyrat, 10 Rue De La Tour, Paris. This plateau features four cast silver hoof feet and a beveled mirror. In excellent condition with just normal antique wear to the mirror, it is fully hallmarked and has a wood bottom. Measures 21" long, 17" wide, and 2.25" high. Circa 1880.

Large English Staffordshire Bull Terrier ivory walking stick handle. Inset glass eyes, the ivory was skillfully carved to emphasize the strong, muscular body, and intense stare, both of which are characteristic of this sensitive and loving breed. Embossed collar is gold plated. The ivory handle is thick and has very good weight. Measuring 4.5 inches long. No chips. Circa late 19th England.

A well cared for Qianlong period porcelain famille rose Chinese bowl with still vibrant glazes that feel smooth as silk. The bowl is in excellent condition, No Chips, No Cracks, etc. Hard to believe it is 250 years old! Measures about 9.5" diameter x 4" high. Circa 1760.

A well rendered miniature Chinese lacquered hardwood horseshoe chair with a bat carving on the splat. The hardwood appears to be in the rosewood family. The chair is little larger than most miniature pieces, indicating that it may have been a scholar's item. Measures 8.5 inches by 5.5 across. Excellent condition.

Fabulous Japanese ivory magnifying glass featuring branch coral carvings wrapping the handle with 18 natural red coral beads, one at the end of each branch. In very good antique condition with all beads intact, there are a few age related hairline cracks, and some surface dirt or dust to carved recesses. Measures 10.5 inches long. Handle is 5" x 1 1/8". Dates late Meiji.

Very nice Imperial yellow hand carved Chinese wine cup. The bowl is accented with carving details in the stems and lotus areas for added appeal. The shape of the bowls reflects those porcelain counterparts that were popular around the late Qing and early republic periods. Condition is excellent without any chips, cracks, hairlines, or restoration. Measures 4.5 inches high by 2.5" in diameter. Stand not included.

A beautifully framed Tibetan collar necklace decorated with red coral, lapis lazuli, turquoise, silver and brass beads, and fresh water pearls. A multi colored glass bead finishes off each end of the ties. This necklace was made for a wealthy Tibetan woman to wear at festivals. The frame measures 17 inches high, 15" wide, 2" deep. The necklace measures about 8 inches at its widest point. Please note that the necklace was shot through glass.
