18C Chinese domed jade plaque carved in low relief with Buddhist auspicious symbols. Color is a whitish pale celadon. It is carved very, very thin with two sets of small holes to the back edge. This may have been attached to clothing or fabric or, perhaps, attached to a large ruyi scepter. Condition is excellent and it is wonderfully translucent. Measures: 4" x 3.25".

Impressive hand carved and polished Lapis Lazuli carving of Shou Lao, the Chinese deity of longevity, standing with others, including a deer, on a log boat. Presented on a silver wire inlaid rosewood stand, this is a superb piece and comes in its own presentation box. It measures: Long 10" x High 7.25" x Depth 2.5" plus stand. Late Qing to early Republic Chinese carved agate lidded vase. Colors include a multi color orange, reddish brown and natural tone that was carved with nice details and open work. The lid and vase are nicely hollowed inside. The birds are fly catchers amongst flowers stems and leaves showing some stunning markings. Republic period mottled pale green jade Chinese small sword or dagger nicely carved with a great surface sheen and patina. A chilong is carved on each side of the guard between the handle and blade. Early 20th Century rose quartz carving of 2 beauties. Made of one piece, it is difficult to find a double figure carving like this. Presented on a custom rosewood stand, this rose quartz carving has really nice details that we were not able to fully capture with a camera. It is much nicer in person and you won't be disappointed. In excellent condition, it measures on stand 10-1/2" high x 5" wide x 2". Carving alone measures 9-1/8" high.

The subject matter being fishing with a man and 2 boys, sea life, a boat, trees, birds and of course a big flopping fish. 17th/18th C Chinese hardwood carving of Quan Yin. Beautifully carved with nice elegant lines, this statue has a wonderful patina than only comes with time. In very good condition there are a few age cracks which do not affect the integrity of the piece. There is some glue residue on the bottom where she was attached to an old lamp base. The front is saturated with open flowers, leaves, stems and buds in the type of work that appears like they are lifted in the air with skilled undercutting and back carving. Circa 1870s hand carved and highly polished rock crystal and purple amethyst snuff bottle. Carved in good medium relief is a maiden carrying a poled basket with reverse having a flycatcher in the lower right corner amongst a landscape (but it is very hard to make out due to the sheen). In excellent condition, the bottle measures 2 7/8" high and 1 3/4" wide.

A spectacular Chinese coconut wood carved crab box of the Guangxu period. Every detail is done to high excellence with the utmost attention to detail; even the the crabs with their markings are painted to realistic perfection. The basket appears woven but is itself carved.
